HIPAA Security Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a HIPAA Security specialist who can implement technical security measures for our Mobile app to transmit secure messaging and booking of Home Care services.

You may be a great fit for our team if you are excited about exploring huge mobile data and put in place the appropriate administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to keep all information secure and finding effective ways to simplify and communicate the results to a non-technical audience.


About this role:

Developing and implementing security policies and procedures in accordance with the HIPAA Security Rule and all other applicable laws;

Reviewing and investigating all security incidents and ensuring that response and reporting procedures are followed and that harm caused by security incidents is mitigated to the extent practicable;

Cooperating with oversight agencies in any investigations of security violations;

Developing and conducting training on and fostering awareness of security policies and procedures to ensure that all company employees, receive adequate and appropriate security training;

Ensuring that all documentation required by the HIPAA Security Rule is created and maintained for six years from the date it was created or was last in effect whichever is later;

Various other duties as assigned


Job Requirements:

Experience in the management of both physical and logical information security systems.

Strong technical skills (iOS mobile Application security, SMS, Mobile malware, vulnerability assessments, security audits, etc).

Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to weigh business risks and enforce appropriate information security measures.

In-depth knowledge of the HIPAA Security Rule and other government technology laws.

Mobile iOS Project Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a mobile project manager with a focus on managing Gravity Care app development and releases projects. You will be part of our growing and passionate Development team and you will be involved in every aspect of a project – from Requirements, Mockups, data, testing, pre-beta testing, and delivery.


About this role:

Overseeing the process of a project and making sure all milestones are met.

Working together with our passionate offshore team of mobile and database developers, App designers and US product managers to ensure the project is a success.


Job Requirements:

The scale of projects – Mobile App Project Manager will lead projects on small to medium scale.

The complexity of projects – Project Manager will lead projects of low to medium complexity.

Concurrency of projects – Project Manager will lead a number of projects depending on the complexity and scale; typically, 4-8 projects.

Budget – This role has no budget responsibility but will monitor costs on behalf of the budget owner.

This position has no direct reports.

PMP Certified.

2+ years experience demonstrating usage of Agile methodologies (especially SCRUM).

Prior experience delivering cutting edge Mobile solutions in Home Care, Health Care or Financial Banking.

Strong background in technical project management with at least 3 years of experience in project management specifically in consumer-facing mobile application development.

Strong passion for mobile applications and mobile technology.

About this role:

You are responsible for the various aspects of the Company’s background process including; decisional process, background system and package administration, and general support to external candidates and internal members.

Follow prescribed background check process to ensure compliance with policy, laws and other regulations.

Review background results provided by organizations background vendor to assist with the determination of candidate or registered member eligibility for employment. Ensure proper account set up

Generate and distribute pre and final adverse action letters, as necessary, as required under FCRA or other local jurisdictions not distributed by organization’s background vendor.

Respond to inbound calls from registered members or candidates who want to contest results of background reports.

Demonstrate knowledge of various background package components and background system functionality.
